Blog Hosting is different than HTML hosting

Blogging is easy, but finding QUALITY hosting is not only hard, it’s a never ending struggle.

Web Hosting for Blogs is MUCH tougher than finding quality web hosting for a standard HTML web site.  The very features that make a blog so easy to use and can lead to enormous popularity, make hosting blogs a STRAIN on the server.

In layman’s terms, there are a lot of "switches" that need to be flipped so your blog functions correctly.  I recently abandoned a long time favorite reseller hosting solution because, while the hosting solution was GREAT for low tech plain HTML style web sites, it was constantly "falling down" when it came to the blogs I had hosted on my reseller account.

My blog clients were emailing me, thinking they were "stupid" because they couldn’t make posts to their blogs.  It wasn’t their fault, and I let them know as much. When I moved the accounts to a new hosting provider, all the problems that the previous hosting admin was blaming on "user error" were suddenly, magically FIXED!

If you’re having trouble making your blog function, it may be your hosting provider.
