I am a HUGE fan of Wordpress blogs for easy SEO (search engine optimization). Using Wordpress blogs, you can sometimes make unexpected “wins” on various keywords.
For example, in my local newspaper there’s an article about the appearance of Bufo toads in our area.
To the growing list of environmental problems exacerbated by Tropical Storm Fay, add dog-killing toads.
Now, the newspaper article didnt’ feature a photo of the monster poisonous toad so I went searching for a visual and I found one – in the Wordpress blog CampNPost.com
Now, if I were the camping type, I would have just stumbled upon a precious resource for camping and hiking – all because he wrote about his encounter with a monsterously huge poisonous toad. If you’re camping in Southeastern Florida, you probably need to be aware of the Bufo (or Cane) Toad so you don’t make the mistake of making physical contact.
I’m sure the artice in my local paper will stir the curiousity of several hundred internet users in our area, so the Camp N Post blog may see a nice little traffic spike as a result of this story and the reason this blog will be found is because of Wordpress’ natural “SEO” properties!
