Keywords are the Secret to Increase Website Traffic

by Kathy

Want to increase website traffic?  Start focusing your efforts on the keywords you use in your blog or website.

When top bloggers reveal the source of their traffic for their blogs, search engine traffic is ALWAYS at the top of the list.

  • Not Digg
  • Not Stumbleupon
  • Not Twitter
  • Not Plurk

Successful blogs RELY on the search engines to drive a MAJORITY of their website traffic.

The secret to increase web traffic is to focus upon the right KEYWORDS!!!

Have you run a PPC (pay per click) campaign lately?  If you have, you know you’ll pay a high price to have your ad appear in a highly competitive search term.

You’ll pay LESS if Google thinks your website or blog is a good “match” for the keyword.  In other words, if you’re using that keyword in your blog posts and blog titles, it won’t cost AS MUCH as it would if you didn’t use those tasty and tightly targeted keywords.

The keywords you use on your blog are like individual Lego Building Blocks.

You can build your own Intricate and beautifulTaj Mahal using the tiny little building blocks! This masterpiece is composed of 5900 individual Lego building blocks.

Some blocks are white - others are gold.  Some are curved while others are rectangular and square. Yet, when combined correctly, those individual pieces form an intricate and beautiful structure.

That’s the way keywords are in your blog!

Every word isn’t the same, but when pieced together properly, they form a structure that is unique.

A while back, the blog Bankaholic was sold for $15 Million dollars.  In the Fast Track to Blog Success report, I deconstruct the use of keywords on the Bankaholic blog.  I also deconstruct other successful blogs - and a couple of new blogs as well.

The Fast Track to Blog Success is an indepth study of how to use keywords to increase website traffic.

It will clearly illustrate why one blog sold for $15 Million while another blog, with higher PR and traffic sold for 1/250th that amount!

You are right the keywords make all the difference. It is also a good idea to recheck your phrases often to get the ones that bring traffic and yet are not too competitive.
